Happy in the moment...

So.... I must share that I am feeling so torn between two worlds right now. I am trying to enjoy every minute that we have in Milwaukee especially with the people that I have grown to love and may never live close to again. I can truly say that I am happy exactly where I am and don't wish for the time to move any more quickly than it already is. I do wish I had taken more pictures, planned more get togethers, and not wished so many times that I could jump ahead a few years because now it's here. So we'll live it up for the next few weeks, there are still many more memories to be made and fun to be had.

new house!

So we don't official close until May 13th, but several of you are asking for pictures of our new house, so here you go. We are so excited, dishwasher, garage, yard, playroom, need I say more! (We'll give you the full guided tour when we get moved in.)

Tic- Tac -Toe 3 picnics in a row!

We have enjoyed a beautiful few days with lots of sunshine and warmth which is long awaited. To soak up as much as possible we have gone to the park everyday packing a lunch and the boys have absolutely loved it. Thursday we picniced (is that a word?) with my good friend Megan and her two boys Sean and Will that are Elijah's age. Friday the boys and I had our own park adventure and today Kyle got to go with us. When we have to eat lunch inside tomorrow I think the boys will revolt.:)

one finger one thumb

This video clip is of the boys performing a song from "The Wiggles" one of their favorite kid bands. Weston is all business and Elijah chimes in once in a while.

Happy Easter!

It has been a beautiful day. The boys all wore bowties to church, we got a visit from the Easter bunny and had an outing to the park this afternoon. We are still holding our breaths for spring and hopefully it will come soon. I just love this time of year, the feeling of renewal and rebirth. Our boys are at such cute ages and just love being outside and playing with sticks, rocks and anything else they can find, they even play with their toys occasionally :) We are down to 6 weeks of our four Milwaukee years. We are trying to squeeze in everything that we can and enjoy all the time we have left. The midwest has been good to us. Happy Spring and, and happy Easter to all!

Jelly Belly

We went to the Jelly belly factory this Saturday. The Easter Bunny was there and gave the boys Jelly Belly shaped eggs filled with Jelly beans. Surprise! Elijah tried to climb off of the tour train and tried to run away at every opportunity, but other than that we had a lot of fun. Weston is at a great age for doing things like this and enjoys every new experience. We are all loving having Kyle home on weekends this month! It is amazing how much easier church is with him there.

zoo and park

So it is really starting to warm up, we have actually reached 50 degrees a few times over the past two weeks:) We have had the chance to get out and enjoy it and the boys are loving it. The sunshine is good for the soul. We are looking forward to a magic summer of living outside in our new backyard.
