On Monday we went on an outing to the Mitchell Domes to bask in the warmth and o2 of all the beautiful plants. The boys loved to run around without coats on and Elijah sat down in a pile of dirt and picked handfuls wondering what it was, after all we haven't seen dirt in months. I did lose a few years of my life when Elijah disappeared for a few minutes. That has to be the worst feeling ever, losing your child in a crowded public place. As is turned out he had wondered onto the little stage they have for concerts and he was dancing around and running up and down the ramp. What a relief! Wes was never one to run off much, he likes to have me within his eyeline, but Elijah is totally different story, I am beginning to understand why some parents put their children in those harness so they can't get lost. The show dome is always changing and this time it was a Legoland display. There were trains and lost of famous landmarks made our of Legos. Wes especially loved that. It's still very cold here, being around flowers and warmth made me wish for spring.
