We made a quick trip to the zoo this afternoon. Wes is very interested and worried about animals with big teeth lately, in fact he prays that he will be safe from the animals with big teeth. We are not exactly sure what brought it on, but it is very cute. Today he was especially taken with the jaguars and kangaroos and told us that "soon I want to live with the kangaroos and jaguars." When we told him that jaguars have big teeth, he decided he would just live with the kangaroos.
Elijah was especially fond of the bears and just laughed and laughed at them as they walked around in front of him.

He obviously hasn't seen the PBS special on kick boxing Kangaroos. It was scary and made me hope that if I ever see a kangaroo either me or the kangaroo is locked up. Hazel went through the stage of telling me which animals have big teeth. Kids are funny.
You have a great zoo there. We miss it. As well as all the families there!
