Teach me to Pray

Tonight at bedtime I had a sweet experience with Wes. He didn't want to pray and so I told him how much Heavenly Father missed hearing from him and that he loves him and was watching over him all the time. Weston said," mommy I don't know how that works, the ceiling is in the way, and heaven is very far away." I had to be honest and say that I don't know how it all works either, but I know it's true. After that Wes agreed to pray and told all about his day and even expressed gratitude for watermelon, I have to agree, I am grateful for watermelon too. I am also grateful for the golden moments that come with parenting.
